Quinoa Flat Bread

Time: 40-50 minutes

Level: easy

This delicious gluten free bread is also easy to make. It is my go-to bread these days. It is rich in fiber, B vitamins, protein and it is good for gut health. The herbs, garlic and nutritional yeast are optional however they add great flavor and some additional nutritional value. This bread is great with hummus, any other dip, as a pizza crust or on it’s own. If you let it bake just a little longer, until it is golden brown and let it cool, it becomes like crackers.


  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Herbs of choice – herbs de Provence, oregano, thyme
  • 1 clove fresh garlic or 1tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
  • Sesame seeds


Put everything except the sesame seeds in a blender and blend until smooth. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the dough. Spread evenly to a thin layer. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Bake on 220 degree C for 25 minutes. Let it cool before you peel off the parchment paper.
